The
Great American Game
The "Great
American Game," illustrates how business gets done. The program
traces interesting companies from their infancy, spotlighting
alliances and events, which catapulted them to mega-success. It
also chronicles the decisions, which contributed to the downfall
of established and new and emerging businesses as well.
The program
uncovers interesting trivia, like the lucky break that allowed
Microsoft to form an alliance with IBM; how one woman's hobby
of collecting and trading Pez dispensers contributed to the development
of Ebay; and how an energy CEO rolled the dice to build profits
at his company by partnering with his competitors.
